Evening of Recollection.png

Join us on January 12, 7:00–8:30 PM (via Zoom) for an Epiphany Evening of Recollection led by Sr. Ann Marie Walsh, fcJ.

As we begin the year, we invite you to reflect together on the question: How will you live out the blessings of Christmas?

Alpha is a series of interactive sessions where people can explore life, faith, and meaning in a safe, non-threatening, non-compelling, and honest environment.

Invite a friend and join us for a series of videos and group conversations that explore the Christian faith in an open, friendly environment. At each online Alpha session, you watch an episode on a different question of faith - and then have a chance to share your thoughts and hear what others think. You can say anything you like, or nothing at all. Everyone's welcome, no matter their background or beliefs.

Prepare a Way in the Wilderness for God (1).png

The season of preparation for Christmas this year begins on the First Sunday of Advent, November 30, 2025. You are invited to an evening with Fr. Wilbert Chin Jon as we reflect on the powerful call from Isaiah and echoed by John the Baptist: “Prepare the way of the Lord, make His paths straight” (Luke 3:4).

Together, we will explore the deeper meaning behind this invitation and consider how it can apply to our own lives. Through Scripture, prayer, and personal reflection, we will identify practical ways we can ready our hearts for Christ’s coming, especially in the wilderness places we may find ourselves this year.

The evening will begin at 6:30 pm and will last approximately two hours. Come ready to listen, reflect, and take a meaningful step toward Christmas.

Blending insights from the social sciences with the wisdom of Catholicism, this presentation explores how to live a life of human flourishing. The second-century theologian St. Irenaeus wrote that “the glory of God is a human being fully alive!” What does this mean? How can we live a better, happier life? This presentation will draw upon insights from Catholic saints from different periods of Church history to see what RELEVANT and PRACTICAL lessons we can learn from them about finding happiness and purpose in our contemporary lives. All are welcome!

Lent begins today.png

This program will look at different ways to express oneself and respond in prayer. This evening hopes to bring a moment of reflection and connection within ourselves and serve as a reminder of our core identity and being.

Through meditative Taizé chants, personal prayer and quiet time, we enter into the Advent season, coming close to the One who comes and sending light into our world.

This retreat is an invitation to journey together, coming to know Christ in a new and deeper way this Advent.

Given the challenges and adversities of life, we invite you to PAUSE and find our sanctuary, to enter into the memories of the Galilee experience, to take responsibility, despite our vulnerabilities and the natural temptations we may be swept into, to rediscover our vision and engage in the mission we are called to, held in a delicate balance of boundaries, bonding, and the boundless compassion of our God.

This retreat follows the spirit of Pope Francis and Pope Leo XIII in sustaining the journey of synodality (participation, communion, and mission) into a Jubilee of Hope and Peace in the hands of God.

We see Jesus’ example of fasting to teach us how we can draw closer into union with Him. His example has been followed by His faithful disciples during the 40 days of Lent. We know that we have succumbed to the temptations of self-indulgence, pride, seeking popularity, power or control, or some type of idolatry where we elevate our own will and desires over what Jesus wants of us. Yes Lord, please forgive us. During Lent we are invited to think deeply about this. This practice is not meant as a personal challenge of willpower or a punishing deprivation of our self, but rather a spiritual tool to clear and make space in our minds, hearts, and make time for more of Jesus, and the values of His holy reign in our lives, to become more and more like Him by walking with Him during Lent.
