On April 27, 2025, the FCJ Retreat and Conference held an egg hunt for the scouts from St Basil's Melkite Greek Catholic Church.

With almost 50 children, 20 parents, and 10 volunteers, had a fantastic occasion with unforgettable memories.
The event began with an opening prayer with Sr Ann Marie Walsh, fcJ. She described the significance of the Easter celebration at the church, as well as the meaning of various Easter symbols such as coloured eggs, rabbits, and checks, and why they are used throughout the Easter season.
Following the introduction of Easter, the children eagerly embarked on an egg hunt in the FCJ Garden, their laughter and excitement echoing through the space as they searched for hidden egg treasures.
The day continued with an Easter craft session, giving the children a chance to show their creativity.
It was truly heartwarming to witness the Centre come alive with the joyful energy of the children, bringing a sense of warmth, community, and renewal to the Easter celebration.#
