Group Spiritual Direction (For Trained Spiritual Directors) - Jan. 2022

Are you a Spiritual Director who desires to connect with colleagues for ongoing support and encouragement? This monthly gathering for trained Spiritual Directors will follow the group spiritual direction format and any experience level is welcome. Maximum 6-8 participants per group. Consistent attendance is preferred to help foster the groups continued growth in depth, safety, and trust. It will be a time for those of similar hearts to connect and share their unique giftedness with one another.

Runs monthly on Wednesdays: Jan. 19, Feb. 16, Mar. 16, Apr. 20 and May 18 (5 sessions)

Director:

Sonya is a trained Spiritual Director with over a decade of experience offering individual and group Spiritual Direction (“SD”), SD Supervision, and retreats with a focus on Silence, Nature, Scripture, Music, Contemplation and Prayer. She is one of the leaders of the Spiritual Direction Training Program (SDTP) and a member of the Program & Facilitation Resource Team at the FCJ Centre. Sonya’s background includes Master’s degrees in Divinity, Leadership and Ministry, as well as advanced degrees in Music and Theology. She has been a music instructor and animal sitter and loves the beneficial healing attributes that naturally flow from both. Her deep passion for hospitality, Scripture, faith-formation and living a contemplative and unconventional non-busy lifestyle exude through her charism and ministry style.
