Yvonne Prowse, M.A, Spiritual Director has been leading retreats for over three decades. She chaired the spiritual direction training program at Loyola House, Guelph, ON for over a decade. She is co-author of an upcoming book for parishes on ecology and faith; author of “Spiritual Direction and the Call to Ecological Conversion” Presence, 2016, and led the Contemplative Retreat of Spiritual Directors International (SDI), in 2017.

About this Event
A retreat focusing on transformation of our hearts and minds toward greater love of God, each other, and our relationship with Earth, as called for in Laudato Si' and other teachings and wisdom.
Two great "books" reveal God to us: the Bible and Creation. During this Retreat there will be prayers outdoors (in solitude and community) and daily presentations weaving scriptures and teachings of St. Francis, St. Hildegard and others who were close to nature, we will explore what creation reveals to us of God's love, mercy and hope.

Enjoy an evening savoring the grace God reveals in creation. The talk will weave teachings of scripture, figures such as Saints Francis and Hildegard, and contemporary theology, and elicit your own experience - all exploring what creation reveals to us of God's love, mercy and hope.

About this Event
As Spiritual Directors we tune our sense to listen for the movements of the Spirit. In this workshop we will explore how to listen to Spirit in our Directees' relationship with God in creation, without imposing our own ideas or beliefs.
