Young Adult-Come and See - Sept. 27, 2022

An evening introduction to the FCJ Centre, programs, and staff for young adults aged 20-40. The evening will include a tour of the facility, meditation time, and a chance to meet Sisters and staff, and will conclude with an outdoor fireside gathering. Come and see what your Centre can offer you!

This informal evening will give people a chance to explore the FCJ Centre and come to know more about programs, volunteer opportunities, and offerings. We value the input of young adults and would love to hear your ideas for programming. The evening will include a chance to share your ideas with us.

Director:

Dawna Richardson is a member of the Outreach Team at the FCJ Centre. After earning a Bachelor of Theology degree from Newman Theological College, Dawna worked in various parishes and in school ministry.

She worked in parish youth ministry for several years before joining the Calgary Catholic School district as a High School Chaplain. During this time, Dawna’s focus was on leadership growth and faith development for the young people she worked with.

Dawna is working to expand the young adult presence at the FCJ Centre by actively seeking out collaborators to grow the FCJ Centre as a place of belonging for young people in our Diocese.
