About the Event
ONLINE Advent Ignatian Retreat in Everyday Life
For people who desire to deepen their spirituality with daily prayer, reflection, and weekly spiritual conversation in a small group, we are offering an Advent Ignatian Retreat in Everyday Life. This retreat is inspired by and rooted in the Spiritual Exercises of St. Ignatius, and based on the work of Joseph Tetlow, SJ.
November 29, December 6, 13, 20, 2021
Every week on Monday evenings, 7:00 - 8:30 pm
Additional Information
The season of Advent is a time of light amid deep darkness, a time of waiting in hope and preparing ourselves to receive Christ into our hearts and our lives. This retreat is an invitation to come to know Christ in a new and deeper way as we journey through the season of Advent, preparing to welcome the Light of the World, Jesus Christ at Christmas!
For those who cannot get away for a retreat at the FCJ Centre, this is an opportunity to make an ‘at-home’ retreat. Participants will meet in a group via Zoom with experienced spiritual directors once a week for 4 weeks on Monday evenings, 7:00 - 8:30 pm. The directors will provide guidelines for daily prayer. Participants must commit to 30-60 minutes each day for personal prayer and journaling, and be willing to share their prayer experiences. This faith sharing in a group setting is always enriching for all involved. If you desire a few weeks of retreat to deepen your relationship with God, this opportunity for an at-home-directed retreat is a perfect experience for you. Register now!
