ONLINE 6-Week Retreat in Daily Life - Lent
For people who desire a Lenten retreat, we are offering this 6-Week experience of a Retreat in Daily Life inspired by and rooted in the Spiritual Exercises of St. Ignatius. This retreat is based on the work of Joseph Tetlow, S.J, On Zoom, participants will meet on Monday evenings in groups with an experienced spiritual director for 6 weeks. The director will provide guidelines for daily prayer and the participants must commit at least 30min. to an hour each day for personal prayer and journaling. The faith-sharing that happens in the group setting is enriching for all involved. For those who desire to deepen their relationship with God during these weeks of Lent, this opportunity to do an at-home directed retreat is a perfect experience for you. Register now!
Beginning February 22nd and ending March 29st, 2021. Directors will meet people by Zoom on Mondays from 7:00-8:30 pm. for 6 weeks. Participants limited to 16 people.
Sr. Ann Marie Walsh, fcJ Sr. Ann Marie Walsh, a member of the Sisters Faithful Companions of Jesus (fcJ), offers individual spiritual direction and individual or group retreats at the FCJ Centre and in parishes. Following many years in Catholic education, both as a teacher and administrator, Ann Marie received her training in spiritual direction with the Jesuits at Loyola House in Guelph, Ontario and served on staff there before coming to Calgary in 2012. Ann Marie loves the ministry of spiritual direction and delights in journeying with people searching for a closer relationship with God.
Karen Wold has Lutheran roots and a heart for ecumenical and interfaith collaboration. As a Spiritual Director, Karen has a particular interest in Ignatian Spirituality and has completed additional training in giving the Spiritual Exercises. She is also learning the art of companioning through BioSpiritual Focusing. Karen is an active member of the Calgary Association of the Spiritual Exercises Apostolate (CASEA). She enjoys gardening, hiking with her family, and watching for wildflowers.
