Facilitator Bios:

Sr. Ann Marie Walsh, a member of the Sisters Faithful Companions of Jesus (FCJ), is on staff at the FCJ Christian Life Centre where she offers individual spiritual direction and individual or group retreats in person and on-line. She came to the FCJ Centre in 2012 after many years in Catholic Education, both as a teacher and an administrator, and as a Local Leader in her own religious congregation. Ann Marie received her training in spiritual direction with the Jesuits at Loyola House in Guelph, Ontario. She was a member of the retreat staff there before coming to Calgary. Ann Marie loves the ministry of spiritual direction. She delights in reminding people that they are individually loved by God and journeying with people who are searching for a closer relationship with God.

Patricia Harasym, a member of the FCJ Centre Resource Team, offers spiritual direction, and individual and group retreats at the FCJ Centre. Patricia received her training in Ignatian Spiritual Direction at the FCJ Centre Calgary. Her Masters and PhD degrees from the University of Calgary focused on the intersection of individual experience and cultural knowledge. She is on the National Council for the Canadian Community for Christian Meditation, and facilitates meditation groups. Patricia’s intimate knowledge of language and her desire for inclusive and equitable human relating and relationships informs her approach to spiritual accompaniment.
