About the Event
Carol Hollywood, a parishioner at St. Bonaventure, Calgary, had the adventure of a lifetime this summer. She went to Peru, not to see the beauty of nature, which is extraordinary, but to meet people working with the partners of Development and Peace-Caritas Canada.
She will share her experiences, in Iquitos, and Lima and the surrounding mountains, in words, photographs, and film, invite us to reflect on issues such as global inequality, integral ecology, the Synod on the Amazon and its connections with our Diocesan Renewal process.
This is an opportunity to learn, reflect, share, and build our hope and resilience for our continued pilgrimage of life. We will explore what Jesus is asking us to do with the encounters we have with others and nature, individually and as communities.
