Join Fr. Cristino as he shares his story of reconciliation, openness, vulnerability, suffering and reconciling his two identities as an indigenous priest.
Come and join us in preparation for the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation September 30, 2022.
Director:
Fr. Cristino Bouvette is a born and raised Albertan ordained for the Diocese of Calgary on June 22, 2012. He served as a seminarian and associate pastor in a number of parishes before taking up his current role as Vicar for Vocations and Young Adults in July, 2017. Since then he has helped to establish the St. Francis Xavier Chaplaincy for university students and young adults in the Diocese of Calgary. He oversees that growing project based out of St. Mary's Cathedral. He currently served/recently served as the National Liturgical Coordinator for the Papal Visit to Canada in recognition of both his Indigenous heritage as well as being a Catholic…
