Do you want to grow in your disposition to find God in all things? St. Ignatius based his Spiritual Exercises on his own life experience, recognizing the limits of his ability to respond to God. By meditating on the life of Christ and sharing their experience of prayer with a trained director, retreatants gradually grow towards inner freedom and the ability to respond more fully to God’s invitation to the fullness of life. Sr. Ann Marie Walsh, a member of the Sisters Faithful Companions of Jesus (FCJ), offers individual spiritual direction and individual or group retreats at the FCJ Christian Life Centre and in parishes. She received her training in spiritual direction with the Jesuits at Loyola House in Guelph, Ontario and served on staff there before coming to Calgary in 2012. Ann Marie loves the ministry of spiritual direction and delights in journeying with people searching for a closer relationship with God.
