About the Event

St. Ignatius considered this retreat a school of the heart, a school of prayer, and a school of discernment. Deepen your relationship with the Lord through this time-tested series of meditations and contemplations, and other spiritual exercises. A limited number of spaces are available.

Additional Promotional Material: The Exercises are an opportunity to deepen one's relationship with God in light of the Scriptures and the Jesuit tradition of the Spiritual Exercises of St. Ignatius of Loyola. Participants meet weekly in a group setting with a Spiritual Director on Wednesday evenings from 7-9 pm with the additional opportunity to meet individually four times with the Spiritual Director over the September - June period. The program runs from September 21, 2022, until June 14, 2023. Please contact Patricia at pmharasym@gmail.com for an application.

Director:

Patricia Harasym, a member of the FCJ Centre Resource Team, offers spiritual direction, individual

and group retreats, and courses at the FCJ Centre. Patricia is on the National Council for the Canadian

Community for Christian Meditation and facilitates Christian Meditation groups through the FCJ Centre. Patricia received her training in Ignatian Spiritual Direction at the FCJ Centre Calgary and her Master’s and Ph.D. level training in Communication and Culture from the University of Calgary. Her passion for compassionate and equitable communication underlays her deep desire to find God in all things.

A limited number of spaces are available. 

September 21, 2022; through June 14, 2023. The program runs for 9- months and is charged on a monthly basis.  Participants must contact the Reception Ph: (403) 228-4215 or email reception@fcjcentre.ca, to make arrangements for the remainder of the payments after the first month.

“Participants will be required to purchase the book, “Grace Upon Grace”, by Marlene Marburg. The facilitator will have the book available for purchase. Approximate cost $30.00.
