Support for the Daily Examen

St. Ignatius proposed frequent examinations of our consciousness of how God is present and active in our lives as a powerful tool for spiritual growth. However, many people experience a need for support as they try to incorporate the practice of the Daily Examen into their lives. Every Tuesday evening, between 8:15 and 8:45 pm MST, one of the Sisters, Faithful Companions of Jesus, or Companions in Mission will companion with you, as you do the Examen. The first Tuesday of the month will offer teaching and practice of the basic Daily Examen. If you’ve been struggling to make the Examen part of your daily spiritual practice, join us for a few weeks or months and see what a difference the Examen will make to your life!

Savoring the Spiritual Exercises

Deepening our Retreat Experience 2022

Director (s):

Sr. Ann Marie Walsh, FCJ and Patricia Harasym

Date:

This small group program is designed for those who have completed the Full Spiritual Exercises of St. Ignatius of Loyola. Through input, prayer, personal reflection, and group sharing, participants will gain
greater understanding of Ignatian principles and their own personal growth.

Additional Information:

So often, people who come to the close of the Full Exercises of St. Ignatius long for something to help them continue to grow in deepening that experience. This series is just that! This group is open to anyone who has completed the Full Exercises of St. Ignatius through the 30-Day Retreat, 19th Annotation Retreat in Daily Life, or through other options offered to do the Complete Exercises. It is important to have your Journal so that you can revisit your retreat and reflect on how your initial retreat experiences have and are affecting your current everyday life. The group will meet once a month for four months. At each gathering, participants will receive some input on the ‘Week’ being reflected on at that meeting, and then share their own reflections of their personal experiences of the Week with the group. Between sessions, participants will be expected to take time to pray, reflect, and journal in preparation for the next gathering. This series of four sessions begins in February and concludes in May. The evening begins at 7 pm and concludes at 9 pm.
