About the Event

ONLINE Take a Break Directed Silent Retreat: Winter Stillness

As we continue to live in and through all that COVID-19 offers and takes away, we might be noticing change within us, and through us. Many of us are reflecting more on life and realizing that God gifts us in many different ways. Yes, God allows us to grow in many and varied ways! So, perhaps you would like to take some ‘stillness’ time to ponder on the many gifts of God by setting time aside for an online retreat.

Patricia Harasym will be facilitating a weekend at-home directed retreat on the theme of “Winter Stillness”. Winter offers us a time of slowing down, resting in loving awareness of God and appreciating the beauty in nature and all around us. This weekend will give you time to look at and pray through God’s invitation to you at this time. The retreat will be done on Zoom and will include Communal Prayer, an opportunity for one-on-one spiritual direction and suggestions for your own personal silent prayer time. "I call to you, O Blessed One. Suffuse me with your Love! Guide me to times of solitude and silence. That nurture new growth, so the Word may ripen into abundant fruit."  Psalm 147, N. Merrill)
