Important Information Regarding the FCJ Retreat and Conference Centre

THE FCJ RETREAT AND CONFERENCE CENTRE
WILL BE CLOSED
UNTIL JANUARY 21, 2021

Due to Alberta’s high case numbers, aggressive action is still required to protect our health system from being overwhelmed.

The current situation is still critical. The mandatory restrictions which apply province-wide will now be in place at least until January 21, 2021. Health officials actively continue to evaluate the situation and will adjust measures if required.

Once again, we want to take the opportunity to thank our loyal patrons who have been so supportive of the Centre. We also would like to welcome new patrons soon. We are looking forward to seeing you once we resume services.

How We're Taking Care & Keeping Safe

June 2, 2020

We are practicing leading health and safety precautions as outline by Alberta Health Services, to ensure the safety of our FCJ Centre patrons and employees. Our new health and safety measure include:

  • Practicing physical distancing.

  • Our employees wear masks and we encourage our patrons to do the same.

  • Limiting our conference room capacity.

  • Enhanced cleaning protocols, including regular disinfecting and sanitizing of high-touch surfaces and equipment.

  • Providing hand sanitizer and encouraging customers to use it upon entrance and throughout the Centre.

  • Using an acrylic protective shield at the reception desk.

  • Our dining rooms are open with restrictions:

We operate at no more than 50% seating capacity.
Tables and chairs are arranged so that a 2-meter distance is maintained between each dining party.
All dining is table service only.
There is no buffet or self-serve meal options.
We use rolled silverware and tables are not preset.

We look forward to seeing you!
